Q: When will the next chapter of [your favourite story] be posted?
A: I don't know. If it's an Active story then it probably won't be too long. If it isn't an Active story then it depends on how much free time I am able to dedicate to it.
Q: Why does it take so long for you to post new chapters?
A: It takes a long time for me to post new chapters because it takes long time for me to write new chapters. I don't write full time, it's a hobby. Since it's a hobby, I have to fit it in around the rest of my busy life and I'm a single mother in full-time college classes so my life is very busy. Also, I never post anything unless it's been edited and proofread by someone else. So I have to write a chapter, send it to a friend, wait for them to edit it and send it back, then make the necessary adjustments before I can post it.
Q: Will you do a version of [insert story here]?
A: I might, but there are conditions. I don't do versions of copyrighted stories so if you want me to retell Harry Potter or Bridge to Terabithia or John Green's latest novel, the answer is no. I retell fairy tales, fables, myths, and legends. I choose them based on how familiar I am with various versions of the story and how interesting I find the story and whether or not I feel like I can retell the story in an interesting way. If you want to make a request, that's great. I don't make any guarantees about actually taking them.
